The first weekend in December, Felicia and I decided to go see Whitney. Whitney was one of our besties here in the states, but she moved back home to New Mexico. We needed some Whit time so we loaded the kids up on the plane and took off. Felicia and I were very brave for taking three kids on a plane two of them being held in our laps. Suprisingly they all did great. Maci was a little wiggly but overall she did better than I thought she would. Whitney and her family picked us up at the airport, camille and mlie ran towards each other it was very sweet. I had no idea what a great host Whit was going to be. She had everything planned out. She was 7 months pregnant and she was cooking, cleaning, and catering to us. She was fantastic! I can't wait to go back again soon. our first night there we went to dinner and then came back to Whits house. Her house was totally new mexico style, it had a flat roof. It was super cold and there was a little snow on the ground. The kids got in there pajamas and played with toysand dressed up. They were having so much fun!
Our first day Whitney took us to Explora, a science museum. The kids loved it. Coley and Maci had the most fun in the Knee-High Science room.
I think the girls favorite part was the bubbles. I know it was Maci's fav because she cied when we left it.
The kids did everything together even took a bath.....
I tried to put Maci in the bath too, but she was having it. She wanted to play from the outside. The kids wrote all over the bath with crayons, well I helped them a little bit. They has so many toys in the bath and we didn't take them out that night. Felicia took a sower the next morning with a bath full of toys, silly girl. While taking her shower she had to cleanup the mess the kids and I made on the walls. It is always nice when you make a mess and dont have to clean it, LOL. Thanks Felicia!
The last night we were there went went to old town and had dinner and walked and looked at the big Christmas tree in downtown!
We had a blast together! We miss you already Whitney, come see us soon. We will always be life long friends! I love Felicia and Whit and their girls! BFFE!
Brandon and I took Maci to the zoo last Monday! It was Maci's first time to go to the zoo. It was such a pretty day outside and the zoo wasn't too crowded. The first thing we saw were the monkeys, Maci loved them. She was doing the motions and making monkey sounds, so precious.
This was Maci's favorite monkey. That is our shadow above the monkey, pretty neat. Maci started out in her stroller but didn't last long. She insisted on walking or pushing her stroller.
She thinks she is such a BIG girl! I have to say she is pretty independent. Most of the day we walked at the pace of a one year old.Another one of her favorites were the kangeroos. She wanted down in the cage with them. She kept saying please momma.
She also loved the lion. She was just saying Meow and saying Hi! Well i say she liked it, until it started roaring,she started crying. Brandon and I loved it, it was one of our favorite parts of the day.
Brandon and I have been to the FT. Worth zoo so many times yet we are still facinated with all the animals. Our favorite were all the cats. The jaguar was my absolute fav.
He or she was such a pretty animal. I want one for a pet. We had a great day at the Zoo looking at all the animals.
She insisted on wearing mommas shades!
Ok so we told her it was time to leave and she totally made a bee-line in the other direction.
Maci was ready to open the presents as soon as we got there. This present isn't even hers, but she didn't care. I think she opened a few early. She pulled this teddy bear right out of the bag, she wasn't waiting.
